The Los Angeles Clippers turned their 2023-24 NBA season around in a huge way by making a blockbuster deal for James Harden.
Despite the pairing’s terrible start, the Clippers and Harden have rounded into form and have played like the best team in the league for the past month.
Along with Harden, Kawhi Leonard is back to his dominant two-way form after spending the past couple of seasons hurt, while Paul George and Russell Westbrook have excelled in their roles.
Head coach Tyronn Lue also deserves credit for getting his group of stars on the same page and Los Angeles is now looking like a legitimate title contender.
Although the Western Conference is bunched up, L.A. is finding a way to separate itself and could very well threaten for the No. 1 seed.
What makes the Clippers’ run so impressive is that they’re doing it both at home and on the road, via Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.
“Best home record in the NBA since December 1st: LA Clippers: 14-1. Best road record in the NBA since December 1st: LA Clippers: 10-4,” he tweeted.

The mark of a championship-caliber team is how well they do on the road, and Los Angeles is doing its job to win games away from Crypto.com Arena.
Their efficient style of basketball paired with a strong defense make them a tough game for any opponent and it’s hard to imagine them slowing down anytime soon.
For years, team owner Steve Ballmer has been trying to find ways to get the Clippers over the hump but this finally feels like the year they could win it all.
