Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had X-rays done on his injured throwing hand and they revealed no fracture in the middle finger he dislocated on Sunday, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Monday.
Hurts has said he is taking the injury “day-by-day.”
Hurts has stayed in the game despite taking a hard hit to the right middle finger on his throwing hand and needing a quick exam in the medical tent.
The Eagles QB got his finger taped and put on a glove for some warmup passes. He took off the glove and didn’t miss a snap until he was pulled along with several other starters late in the second quarter.
Marcus Mariota replaced Hurts and threw an interception on his first attempt.
Thankfully for the Eagles, Hurts will have an extra day of rest to get ready as their wild-card matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take place on Monday.
The Eagles are limping into the playoffs, as not only did they finish the season 1-5 in their last six games, but they also have a number of significant injuries, including Hurts and star wide receiver AJ Brown.
