The Philadelphia Eagles and the Miami Dolphins went on a signing frenzy during the 2022 NFL offseason.
The Dolphins added the likes of Terron Armstead, Cedrick Wilson, Chase Edmonds, and Tyreek Hill.
Meanwhile, the Eagles welcomed A.J. Brown to an offense with DeVonta Smith, Miles Sanders, and Dallas Goedert.
Those signings benefitted their respective quarterbacks, Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa.
Both play-callers were under the tutelage of Alabama head coach Nick Saban.
This year, they remain undefeated after three weeks.

NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe tweeted that Hurts and Tagovailoa are the only NFL starting quarterbacks leading undefeated teams.
He added, “Once teammates at Alabama, now No.1 in midnight green and No.1 in aqua are leading 3-0 teams atop their respective conferences.”
The Dolphins maintained their undefeated record by defeating the Buffalo Bills at home, 21-19.
Compared to his Week 2 output, Tagovailoa had lower numbers of 13 completions for 186 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Hurts and the Eagles dominated the Washington Commanders, 24-8.
It’s the second consecutive week Philadelphia limited their opponent to fewer than ten points.
Hurts finished that game with 22 completions for 340 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions.
He also added 20 rushing yards on nine carries.
The Dolphins will try to maintain their unblemished slate in Week 4 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
On the other hand, the Eagles will face the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Tagovailoa And Hurts’ Stats After Week 3
Miami’s starting quarterback has 72 completions for 925 yards, eight touchdowns, and two interceptions after three games.
Tagovailoa also has a 71.3 percent completion rate and averages 9.2 yards per completion.
Meanwhile, Hurts has 66 completions for 916 yards, four touchdowns, and an interception.
However, he has three rushing touchdowns out of 167 yards from the ground.
In Week 2, Hurts became the first quarterback in league history to complete 80 percent of his passes, throw for 300 yards, and rush for two touchdowns in the same game.
