Mark Taylor has praised the curators at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala, after Australia and New Zealand’s thrilling World Cup match.
“That was a terrific game of cricket, no doubt about it,” he said on Nine’s coverage.
“What a great pitch for a one-day game, it was a belter of a pitch.
“New Zealand were always just behind the game … they were always a chance, even down to the very last over when Mitchell Starc bowled those five wides down the legside, New Zealand were right back in the game.
“Fortunately, Mitchell Starc got it together for the last three or four balls and Australia got over the line.”
