Just where are the Monster Hunter Now pre-registration rewards? Anyone who has booted up Niantic’s latest monster basher will have asked this question at this point. Typically, when you play a mobile game at launch, you are showered with rewards regardless of whether you pre-registered or not. This time? No rewards. In this guide, I aim to detail why that’s the case.
Monster Hunter Now is the latest entry in the Monster Hunter series, and the first location-based entry. Just like Pokémon GO and Pikmin Bloom, Niantic put together Monster Hunter Now, and it takes place on a familiar real world map. You explore the world, battling monsters, collecting materials, and crafting more powerful gear.
You can grab Monster Hunter Now on Google Play. We’ve also got Monster Hunter Now small monsters, Monster Hunter Now maps, and Monster Hunter Now referral code guides.
Where Are the Monster Hunter Now Pre-Registration Rewards?
Niantic has officially delayed the distribution of the Monster Hunter Now pre-registration rewards, and you can read the breakdown on Twitter:
Effectively, what’s happening is that the pre-registration rewards were planned to arrive between September 14 – November 12, and this is no longer the case.
Instead, Niantic will now announce the distribution at a later date within September. That will also arrive alongside a September update, so stay tuned on Twitter for further updates.
Are the Rewards the Same?
Yes, though the distribution method has changed. Originally, you got all of the rewards from the in-game shop, except for the Face Paint and Founder Medal. These were planned to arrive two weeks following launch.
Now, all items are planned to arrive at the same time. While Niantic hasn’t made this clear, we presume they will still arrive in the in-game shop.
Will I Definitely Get the Rewards?
Provided you login to Monster Hunter Now within the first seven days of launch, you will get the Monster Hunter Now pre-registration rewards as soon as they arrive. Yes, that remains the case even if you didn’t pre-register.
