It’s official: Jonathan Taylor is on the trade block.
On Monday, the Indianapolis Colts gave their 24-year-old running back permission to seek a trade, finally looking to put an end to the back-and-forth bickering that has permeated Colts camp all summer. Owner Jim Irsay has largely been the one stoking the flames of Taylor’s discontent, whether it be through peculiar comments or cryptic tweets. As for who could be interested in trading for Taylor, two teams from the super-competitive AFC East make the most sense, while the Cleveland Browns randomly restructured two deals on Monday, suddenly leaving them with an abundance of cap space. The Colts reportedly want a first-round pick in exchange for Taylor, which may be wishful thinking, but with less than three weeks to go before Week 1 kicks off, it’s a situation worth keeping a close eye on.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Since 2000, 29 NFL running backs have led or tied for the lead in rushing touchdowns on the season, as Taylor did during his fantastic 2021 campaign. So with that in mind, how many of these TD leaders can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
