Need For Speed Mobile is undoubtedly gearing to provide a thrilling racing experience on mobile and follow the footsteps of its PC titles, which were massive. Speculations of the release date following the recent early access phase in Australia are going strong, while reports suggest the Need for Speed Online Mobile might see light and release on late January 2024 in China.
A few more tests might take place before Need for Speed Mobile launch
In the report from the NFS Mobile forum in Baidu Tieba, a Chinese online community, there is a mention of a new round of testing that may take place from early August to September. This will be followed by a final test slated for October which is scheduled for concluding in November.
Once the tests are concluded, there will be an opening of the pre-registration phase in December, where players can access the store pages on the game and then register to get notified about the game launch once it happens. Later on, the launch will take place.
Supposedly, players who log in after the launch will be rewarded with luxury vehicles, high-quality car stickers, and various other gifts on offer to their accounts, which will definitely make the experience of downloading the game memorable.
Need for Speed Online Mobile might follow up on the global release after China
Although the article suggested that the pre-registrations will be open in December, the Chinese website dedicated to the game has already shared an option to pre-register. Players in China can over to the website here to fill in the details via their WeChat or QQ accounts to get notified about the game’s availability.
While some fans were undoubtedly excited about the prospect of a mobile version of the iconic racing series, knowing the little details about the release is more curiosity, of course. However, until and unless the dev team comes up with concrete info regarding the release period and the launch date, confirming the Need for Speed Mobile China release would not be the right thing to do.
But just in case the game launches in China first as mentioned, it might follow up with a global release soon after. This pattern is quite common with many games, where developers initially release the game in a specific region to test its performance, gather player feedback and then follow up with a global launch.
There might be another possibility that the game might release globally on the same date itself, so we can’t discard that option either. So, a wait is definitely there, but it would be great to get a release soon with a complete package of play.
