The Seattle Seahawks updated Team Outlook after the team released OG Gabe Jackson, saving $6.5M in cash and cap space. Jackson, 31, was entering the final year of his contract with a scheduled cap charge of nearly $11.3M. By cutting Jackson, Seattle also incurs $4.8M in dead money. The Seahawks acquired the Mississippi State product from the Raiders in a March 2021 trade for a fifth-round pick in that year’s draft.
