The Buffalo Bills have an elephant in the room that has been growing since the beginning of the 2023 season, and it’s tough to project what the resolution is going to be.
There has been a lot of talk about star wide receiver Stefon Diggs being fed up with his situation in Buffalo and ready to leave for greener pastures, despite playing with one of the league’s best quarterbacks and consistently being around the top of the league in targets, not to mention winning the AFC East in each of his four seasons with the Bills.
Diggs’ production took a hit last season and former NFL star and current analyst Robert Griffin III said on his show, RG3 And The Ones, that Diggs shouldn’t be looking elsewhere and that he and Josh Allen are better together and that their championship window is “wide open” this year with the two in town.
Is Stefon Diggs essential to Josh Allen’s success?
He has been since he got to Buffalo in 2020, they are better together and if Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen stay together with the @BuffaloBills this year, their Championship window is WIDE OPEN.

No. 2 wide receiver Gabe Davis signed with the Jaguars this offseason, leaving Diggs as the only consistently reliable receiver in town.
Diggs’ production took a hit this past season, posting his lowest yardage total since joining the Bills at 1,183 yards.
He also didn’t crack 90 yards in a game after Week 6 and had multiple performances where he was a complete non-factor and didn’t appear to be on the same page as his star quarterback.
RG3 is right in the sense that Buffalo still has an open Super Bowl window, and there isn’t a world where moving Diggs makes winning a title a greater possibility.
