Play breaks for tea with Australia 3-568 from 148 overs, with Steve Smith on 189 and Travis Head 80.
While there were glimpses of Smith and Head having a tonk late in the session, it appears that captain Pat Cummins won’t declare during the tea break.
He’ll likely give Smith and Head about 10 overs after the break to reach 200 and 100 respectively.
“Such a dominant session by the Australians,” Mark Waugh says on the Fox Cricket coverage.
“The West Indies have looked very tired and look like they’ve been bowling for a declaration … since the start of day two, really.
“Steve Smith — it’s just been a faultless innings.
“And Travis Head’s just ripped along.
“Good, entertaining batting by the Australians.”
