The two hottest NBA teams in Texas battled it out on Sunday night and the Dallas Mavericks ended up taking home the victory.
Luka Doncic and his Mavericks beat the Houston Rockets, 125-107, putting an end to Houston’s explosive winning streak while also claiming the highly-coveted fifth spot in the Western Conference, at least for now.
Doncic was sensational yet again, scoring 47 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists, and shooting 9-of-16 from the three-point line.
On Monday’s “Undisputed,” Skip Bayless commended Doncic’s incredible game and his recent growth when it comes to three-point and free-throw shooting.

He said that Doncic’s ability to score from just about anywhere is incredibly hard for other teams to defend.
Additionally, his work alongside Kyrie Irving has become masterful lately and they are providing the team with strong leadership and perhaps the best backcourt duo in the entire league.
For example, Bayless pointed out that as Sunday’s game came to a close, Doncic essentially took it easy because he knew Irving was firmly in control.
Sure enough, Doncic didn’t score anything in the fourth quarter while Irving posted 15 points in the final 12 minutes.
Doncic has truly had an MVP-caliber season and the Mavericks have been on a strong run lately, right before the playoffs get started.
Because of that, hopes are very high for this team just one year after they failed to reach the postseason.
Doncic has always been a terrific shooter but some people have criticized his shot selection and his inconsistency.
On Sunday night, he was looking wonderful in just about every way for his Mavericks.
Will he be able to keep it up in the weeks ahead?
Because of Doncic, the Mavericks have positioned themselves very well for the long postseason, so now all Dallas fans are wondering just how they can go.
