Saddiq Bey has become an important part of the Atlanta Hawks lineup, scoring 13.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this season.
However, he will not be contributing to the team for the rest of the season.
Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Bey has officially suffered a season-ending torn left ACL.

Bey was injured in the fourth quarter of Sunday night’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Following the game, the team didn’t have an update on Bey but now the definitive diagnosis has come in and it’s about as bad as it gets for the Hawks.
Bey, who has been a starter for most of the season, is going to be a restricted free agent this summer.
He has shown a lot of talent when it comes to rebounding and has helped the team space the floor a lot more.
The Hawks have a few other injuries on the roster right now, including one for star point guard Trae Young.
Currently the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference, it has been yet another disappointing season for the Hawks.
Unless they can surprise and push far into the playoffs, they will likely make big changes in the summer.
That means that Bey may have played his last game in Atlanta.
As mentioned, he is a restricted free agent but if the Hawks decide they are willing to move on without him, they will allow him to find a new home in the league in the offseason.
This is only the second team that Bey has ever played for after spending two-and-a-half seasons with the Detroit Pistons before moving to Atlanta.
He is only 24 years old and has a lot of talent.
This season might be over for Bey but his future is still bright.
