Margot Robbie and the “Barbie” cast attended the Warner Bros. Pictures presentation at CinemaCon in April.
Robbie wore a Prada top and skirt, which is similar to the pink gingham dress she wears early in the movie. This look appears to be inspired by the 1964 “Dancing Doll” Barbie.
The “Barbie” global press tour began in Los Angeles in June, where Robbie went for an update to some of the doll’s more retro looks.

Robbie’s stylist, Andrew Mukamal, said on Instagram that this outfit was inspired by the 2015 Pink & Fabulous Barbie doll.
The “Barbie” star wore a halter Valentino minidress and white Manolo Blahnik heels, according to Elle.
In the highly anticipated movie, Robbie plays the titular character as she goes on a journey of self-discovery. The movie, directed by Greta Gerwig, has a star-studded cast that includes Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, Helen Mirren, and John Cena.
At the “Barbie” premiere in Seoul, South Korea, in early July, Robbie went a step further when she wore two Barbie-inspired outfits.

The 1985 Day to Night edition of Barbie featured a reversible skirt that allowed children to change between the two outfits, hence why Robbie had her own transformation on the night.
The look Robbie wore was designed by Versace and styled by her stylist Andrew Mukamal.
At the “Barbie” world premiere in Los Angeles in July, Robbie opted for a classy ’60s Barbie look.

Mukamal dressed Robbie in a glittering Schiaparelli gown and paired it with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Manohlo Blahnik heels.
Robbie remained retro for the London premiere, also in July, with a look inspired by “Enchanted Evening” Barbie, a look first released in the 1960s.
