The Dallas Mavericks started the 2023-24 NBA season on a great note as they were one of the best teams in the league for an extended period of time.
However, the Mavericks are going through a rough patch right now as they are merely 4-6 in their last 10 games of the regular season.
Keeping that in mind, many believe that the Mavericks could shake things up around the NBA Trade Deadline by acquiring another solid player, such as Pascal Siakam.
But the 29-year-old won’t be cheap by any means, and Jake Weinbach suggested a potential trade package to acquire Siakam via Legion Hoops on Twitter.
“The Mavericks’ offer for Pascal Siakam could be a package surrounding Tim Hardaway Jr., Josh Green and draft picks,” Weinbach proposed.

As mentioned in the above-attached tweet, the Mavericks could form a trade package around Tim Hardaway Jr., Josh Green, and future draft picks to convince the Toronto Raptors to accept the deal.
Considering the Toronto Raptors are having an underwhelming season with a 12-20 record, the organization could head towards a rebuild and parting ways with Siakam will be an important step in that process.
Although Siakam is averaging 21.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game this season, his numbers are not resulting in wins for the Raptors.
On the other hand, Siakam could thrive on a team like the Mavericks, who are already the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 19-14 record this season.
Adding a player like Siakam to the dynamic duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving could be the final piece of the puzzle for the Mavericks to win the 2023-24 NBA Championship.
