The Atlanta Falcons have been extremely aggressive during the last three NFL Drafts.
They have used top-10 picks on offensive players in each draft, hoping to jump-start that side of the ball.
Kyle Pitts started this trend in 2021 and was the highest-drafted tight end in NFL history.
Despite being an elite prospect, the Falcons haven’t utilized him to the degree that many have expected.
This has caused many around the league to beg the Falcons to trade him to their team, including Dez Bryant, former Dallas Cowboys wideout.
Bryant used Twitter to make a public plea, saying “Get Kyle Pitts to Dallas please!”
Get @kylepitts__ to Dallas please!!!
This is unacceptable!!!

Bryant also said that Pitts “deserves better,” sharing an image of Pitts wide open in the Falcons’ first game of the season.
Pitts has totaled 1,426 yards in his career thus far, which has only resulted in three touchdowns.
Bryant believes that he’ll be better utilized by the Cowboys, who could use another pass-catcher in their offense.
The Cowboys’ offense has been subject to scrutiny throughout the offseason, largely due to questions about Dak Prescott’s abilities.
If the team traded for Pitts, many of those questions could be answered, assuming he received a large target share.
Whether Bryant’s Pitts wish comes to fruition remains to be seen.
However, with a lot on the line for the Cowboys this year, they might do whatever it takes to make a deeper postseason run.
Will Pitts end up as a primary trade target for the Cowboys later on in the season?
