For the past decade or so, cornerback Stephon Gilmore has made a living by regularly frustrating some of the NFL’s best wide receivers.
His talents have earned him five Pro Bowl selections, two All-Pro First-Team nods, one Defensive Player of the Year award and a Super Bowl ring with the New England Patriots in the 2018 season.
Those talents, plus his experience, have allowed the Dallas Cowboys newcomer to gain a wealth of knowledge on the league’s best wideouts.
He recently named his top-five wide receivers in the game today, via “Speak” on FS1.

Number one on his list is the Buffalo Bills’ Stefon Diggs, a man who put up 1,429 yards and 11 touchdowns last year.
Next is Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders, who regularly makes big-yardage plays and contested catches that are like daggers through the heart of opposing teams and fanbases.
Third is Justin Jefferson, the explosive star of the Minnesota Vikings whom some think deserves the top spot instead of Adams.
Jefferson collected an NFL-high 1,809 receiving yards in 2022, and some feel he is poised to become the first player to reach 2,000 receiving yards in a single season.
Gilmore put the Cincinnati Bengals’ Ja’Marr Chase at No. 4, and although he had a down year in 2022, he is a weapon to behold.
But his fifth choice is debatable — Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins.
Hill might be the fastest wideout downfield in the game, and he is coming off a career-high 1,710 receiving yards last season.
Many would likely have Hill in their top three or possibly even in the top spot.
