This is a polarising one.
The Raiders have run in a long-range try but a glaring forward pass was overlooked by a touch judge.
Sebastian Kris iced a phenomenal Raiders try but not before Jack Wighton threw a forward pass.
Hudson Young tried to bat the Wighton pass to Kris but appeared to not touch the footy.
Kris pounced on the footy and, admittedly, did a superb job for his try, racing 60 metres and beating a string of defenders.
“What’s the touch judge doing? He’s standing right there!” Andrew Johns says on the Nine coverage.
“That’s a metre-and-a-half forward, that one,” adds co-commentator Billy Slater.
“That debate will keep going about whether the Bunker should rule on forward passes,” Johns says.
Nine call Mat Thompson asks if the ball was thrown back and floated forward, but Slater slaps down the suggestion.
“I don’t care — it’s a forward pass, that’s a forward pass,” says the Queensland Maroons coach.
