The Miami Dolphins have recently suffered a huge loss, as news broke about an injury to recently-added cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
Ramsey is slated to miss most of the regular season and will soon undergo knee surgery.
Quickly responding to this injury, the Dolphins scooped up Eli Apple, signing him to a one-year contract.
After this news was announced, Tyreek Hill responded with a tweet, saying, “Monday practice gone be fun.”

Apple and Hill have quite a rich history together.
Hill and Apple faced off when Hill was on the Chiefs, and last season, there was a lot of beef stirred up before their matchup.
Now, they’ll have an opportunity to reconcile their differences, as they are slated to be teammates for the first time.
Apple will undoubtedly have his work cut out for him, as he’ll have big, Ramsey-sized shoes to fill on this defense.
At times, Apple has struggled in coverage, giving up massive plays to players like Hill.
If he can turn things around this year, however, the Dolphins’ defense will surely benefit.
The Dolphins have high hopes for the 2023 season, given the success they found early on in the 2022 season.
However, this team’s success is mainly contingent on the health of Tua Tagovailoa, particularly in the area of concussions.
Apple’s job on defense is to give Tagovalioa and the offense the most time possible on the field, limiting points whenever possible.
Will the Dolphins’ defense be able to bounce back on the heels of Ramsey’s untimely, devastating injury?
